Long, as often as not. About half of the posts here are long reads, about two in five are medium length and about one in nine are short. The short ones are mostly announcements and release notes.
Four in five name the author, a bit over half add a photo next to the byline and about two in five add a job title. Nine in ten show the publication date, and about one in five add a separate last updated date.
At the end. Two in three put the product call to action at the bottom, about one in eight in the middle and only a few at the top or in a sidebar. About one in eight carry none at all, though almost every post still names the product somewhere.
Most skip it: about one in eight carry one. A reading time is more common, on a bit under half, and about seven in ten end with links to related posts.
Nearly nine in ten have pictures, screenshots or diagrams in the body. About one in four show the company's own product inside the article.
