01 / The objective
The starting point
Staycation already had around ten hand-made pages, such as "spa hotels Bordeaux" or "spa hotels Lyon". They presented each city's hotels but stayed at level 1 of the experience: a classic template where only the city name changed. Every new page took half a day of work. The foundations were there, but the process did not scale.
Project priorities
- Go from about ten pages to several hundred, without multiplying manual work
- Give every page an angle competitors do not have
- Generate purchases, not only traffic
02 / What we did
The decisions that made a difference
- 01
A repeatable pattern built on first-party data
"hotel + amenity + place" (spa, pool, sea view, jacuzzi), from the hotel database rather than an SEO tool.
- 02
Rules before generating
- target the long-tail variants competitors ignore
- an offer threshold: at least 3 bookable hotels per page, otherwise no page
- a city > department > region hierarchy, with a template and linking rules per level
- an expert angle: distance to the centre, atmosphere, season
- 03
A rich template
hero with update date, hotel list with prices and reviews, "why Staycation" block, script-generated 3-tab internal linking, an editorial section fed by data, a FAQ of about 9 questions, hub pages.
- 04
An automated stack
one row per page in Supabase, section-by-section generation with n8n then Claude Code, push to the CMS.
- 05
Quality control
the AI only uses the database (no hallucination), comparison with competitor pages, iteration on a first batch before generating everything.
- 06
Technical
FAQ and breadcrumb structured data, server-side rendering (SSR).

03 / Results
The key results
The Growth Lead reports +115% attributed purchases and 3× silo traffic in 2 months. A separate result documented for the new /hotel-spa silo: it went from 0 to 760 daily visitors in 2 months and reached 13,000 page views. SEO became a key channel Staycation kept investing in. The team then reused the same model for new /hotel-piscine and /hotel-jacuzzi silos.
attributed purchasesIn 2 months, as reported by the Growth Lead.
traffic to the siloOver the same 2 months, according to that report.
visitors / dayHotel-spa silo, built from zero over 2 months.
page views on the siloAcross the hotel-spa pages documented in this case.
hubs built on the same modelHotel-spa, hotel-piscine and hotel-jacuzzi.
The takeaway
Attributed purchases are the measure of success. Traffic explains how the channel grows; pages are the means of capturing specific demand.
